TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
